Our lovely house has always been very important to our family. It was in part used as a shelter for our animals, but it was also the barn where we stored our harvests of fruit and vegetables. It was the home that guarded our winter supplies. It was the home where we gathered after dinner in winter to talk, knit, play cards and tell stories to our children.
